The meeting point is shown by the red circle.
Take the A1M north and leave at junction 6.
Go straight on at the roundabout and turn right at the next roundabout.
After passing under the A1M, continue straight on at the roundabout along a dual carrigeway (A1000).
At the next roundabout carry straight on to a minor road (Hertford Road) and pass under the viaduct.
Turn left at the next mini-roundabout and park in Harmer Green Lane or nearby.
Take the footpath from Harmer Green Lane (not the minor road leading to the school) the race start is approx. 500m. along the path.

The race distances are about 3.5 miles for women and 6 miles for men, they comprise of a lap and a half round a field, followed by a large lap through fields and country tracks with one major hill, then a final lap of the first field again before the finish.
The men run two large laps to make up the extra distance. Studs are probably the ideal shoes, but other shoes should be suitable, especially if it remains dry. Please be aware that there are a number of stiles and gates to negotiate, so take care.
It would be great to see some new faces at Digswell, so if you have not run for the club before, why not come and join the band of regulars and make this your first one.
